Kerry Sparkes

Kerry Sparkes, P.Geo., has over 37 years of experience in mineral exploration as a geologist and mining executive. He has contributed to the exploration, delineation and development of major Canadian deposits including Voisey’s Bay and Rainy River.

Mr. Sparkes most recently served as a technical advisor and director to Prime Mining Corp., acquired by Torex Gold Resources Inc. in 2025. He is a director of Aurion Resources Ltd. and former director of Fokus Mining Ltd. He previously served as Vice President, Geology at Franco-Nevada Corporation and was a founder and director of Orla Mining Ltd.

He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Memorial University of Newfoundland and is a registered professional geologist in Newfoundland and Labrador. Mr. Sparkes is a member of Gold Candle’s Executive Leadership Team, supporting the Company’s exploration and development programs in Ontario and Quebec.
